Membership
The Centre has 6232 Individual and 365 corporate members drawn from all over India and abroad. Membership is open to individuals of all nationalities interested in education, science, culture, etc., and to institutions such as Universities, National Laboratories, National Academies, as well as institutions in sympathy with the aims and objectives of the Centre. All foreigners and Indian nationals abroad are considered for admission as Overseas Associate Members.
Currently the Membership is not open and as and when it is decided to seek fresh applications the fact will be notified in the website and in our bimonthly Diary.
The fees and subscriptions payable by members in various categories are determined by the Board of Trustees of IIC from time to time. The present fee structure is given below.
No person shall be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed 30 years of age at the time of applying for enrolment.
An applicant for individual membership, other than temporary membership, should be duly proposed and seconded by two Individual Members (other than an Associate, and Overseas Associate Members one of them certifying that the applicant is personally known to him/her and, in his/her opinion, is a person fit to be admitted as a member of the Centre. All applications are considered by an Admissions Committee.
Application forms are presently not being issued for all categories.
